: Jennifer Tritt. I still feel like a minimalist with a book problem. I would like to think I could pick up and travel long-term without wondering what I would do with all of my books, and when I ask myself whether it is really important that I keep them all, the obvious answer is no.

As recent as last week, I gave away books from my collection, at least. The Minimalists self-published books and accrued millions of podcast listeners. Intheir documentary about minimalist practices across the country was picked up by : Kyle Chayka.

“The Longing for Less: Living with Minimalism,” a new book by the journalist and critic Kyle Chayka, arrives not as an addition to the minimalist canon but as a corrective to it. Chayka aims.
